It appears the sunshine state ain’t so pretty no more for Richard Zednik who after being nominated for the Masterdon Trophy plans to continue his career in the KHL signing a two-year deal with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. A city who’s average temperature rarely hits 70.
The terms have not been disclosed but Zednik will join former NHLers Alexei Yashin and Josef Vašíček. Yaroslavl lost to AK Bars in the KHL final in early April. They are also the former team of rising start Simeon Varlamov of the Washington Capitals
